Our logo brings out the beauty of peacock feathers. At times single, at times multiple, at times resembling an array of green leaves, at times feathers. It reminds us of the rich beauty that exists within the natural environment. Each feather deals with an aspect of the environmental sector. Our first feather showcases 'environmental jobs' - that are opening up within the sector promoting efficient green products, green processes, green services, clean technologies, waste management, resource and wildlife conservation, organic and sustainable agriculture.

Why do we do what we do
The portal is an attempt to fill the gap of information that exists within the sector. There are many who would like to have an in-depth and yet simplified understanding of environmental issues as well as be able to do their bit to help out. By putting together all the resources in one place, the website seeks to be a one point information centre for green services, green opportunities, educational courses, industry certifications as well as volunteering efforts. The team would also like to document efforts in the environmental domain however small, particularly small and showcase the same as learning experiences and possible choices to people at large.

What does our company stand for
Greenfeathers stands for the different facets of environment management, the different approaches one can take to address concerns related to the environment. Greenfeathers encourages environment friendly behaviours via its extensive database of green companies offering eco-friendly products and processes. We encourage top talent to pursue this field as an active career choice. There are other ways to contribute too via internships and volunteering. Greenfeathers wants to demonstrate that Environment Management can be an as fulfilling and satisfying career choice as any other sector within the economy in addition to the sense of positive contribution.

About our company history and team
The company is very young, although the idea has been taking shape for some time. The team is a set of like minded individuals with an environmental conscience. The team believes that there are multiple approaches to environmental concerns and providing a platform for exchange is one of them. We have a team of environmentalists, energy experts, business experts, IT specialists and like minded individuals who continually brainstorm to make this portal a dynamic and relevant website.
